- And whosoever shall speak a word
against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him. But whoever shall
speak a word against the Holy Spirit, this will not be forgiven.
And so my theology takes me into a place where here I am,
praying in the room with someone who allows for religion, speaks not wrongly to
it in the world, but speaks unto his dis belief, his atheism and in praying
with him in the matter of healing imagery, I am also accepting his beliefs and
there in a true offering of healing within a trust of acceptance.
It quite a statement that
resignates with me that finds
grounding in my Christianity as and in my
pastoral formation(a CPE CONTETANCY ) when I share in Christ’s teachings and
death on the cross, that our dying Lord prayed for his murderers; but the offense
alluded to here should be not punished.. He prayed on his cross for those
Romans who sinned. He prayed for forgiveness
to be extended to men who,
through fear of men and love of the world, should deny him whom they knew to be
their Redeemer. In Redeemer, while mine
is Christ, Jesus, I also can hear all included in that, god, Jesus, Abraham, is
sac or Jacob, Moses or Mohammad, Krishna and the Deities and remain open.
For in this room was great faith and great pain and great
suffering and two souls entering into a journey for peace and relief of the
pain and suffering, to be heard and to be seen. In that room was the Holy
Spirit moving in me and through me and in HP and through HP and it was
beautiful.
