prayer poem 2013 CELEBRATION OF ST. JOHN OF THE CROSS day

I am grateful for the words of st john of the cross, this morning the readings 
from him, he teaches from song of Solomon

Where have you hidden
Beloved, and left me moaning ?

She call the beloved to move him more to answer her prayers. When god is loved 
he readily answers the request of his lover

"If you abide in me, ask whatever you want and it shall be done unto you (john 
15)

You can truthfully call god the beloved when you are wholly with him, and 
sometimes I am wholly with myself and the world around me, and then comes 
sadness....not around anything particular, just as a whole....
