prayer

What comes to me often in the readings of the bible are the words of jesus, I 
want mercy not sacrifice...


“As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging.  
When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening.  They told him, 
“Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”  He called out, “Jesus,
Son of David, have mercy on me!”
 Luke 18:35-38
 
Prayer
Dear lord-- 
.  Take away any pride that keeps us from seeing ourselves as we truly are -- 
show us the way- way-  have mercy on us, hear this prayer,  Lord, have mercy on 
us!
