poem by kmg

Snow covering all earth
It stays , packing itself into more
And joy, boards over it, In sport...

Sun might be found in one spot of the sky, here over snow they become friends
and all the while receives and she's glistening in their coming together...

Roots buried, comforted, blanketed lining the pathways with lanterns that mark
the way,
Still lit from nights before...

I smile too wide, colorado plants smoke up laughter shining bright beyond large
bug eye goggles that reflect back to me....

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven....

I drop into my heart, and feel poor in spirit, I drop down real deep and heavy
that my eyes have to dance closer to their lids its so dramatic....its the drop
into prayer, always prayer follows...for I know I can not be here alone, its
love, which shines so brightly in every person I feel vibrating all around
me...I must stand in that light,I must bake in its glory, I am that light, for
I am blessed and poor in spirit, empty of what I know, I pray to be filled with
the kingdom of heaven.
