Every state of being is open to liberation because every state of
being is none other than liberation itself - in a distorted form.

Every mind state is connected with beginningless enlightenment. Every
state of mind, no matter how confused, in its free condition is none
other than the liberated state.

-use unwanted, unfavorable circumstances of your life as actual material of 
awakening
-not obstacles or interruptions, but a way to wake up
-the path includes all experience
-it's all opportunity for practice
-part of awakening is to cultivate honesty and clear seeing
-ok to see that harm has been done (but avoid blaming)
-rather than point the finger in blame, raise helpful questions
-make friends with our own feelings of hatred, bewilderment etc. (Then we can 
accept them in others).
-we are capable of playing all the parts
-compassion begins to arise in you because you yourself have been there
