On magic

A child asked:
Do you want to see my magic trick?
Do you want to see me make a coin appear in my hand?

and you answer:
Yes I would love to see your Magic Trick

and the child shows you his open hands, nothing in either of them, is agreed
then he asks you to close your eyes...............................................................

and behind your closed eyes he takes the coin from his pocket and puts it in his hand
and when its time to be asked to open your eyes,

Magic: The Coin is in my hand !

In Raising Six Children In New York City i might dwell on the lesson here to learn that
to this child, this was magic and a good lesson to the parent to practice their skills and HOLD BACK stating the obvious.

In Raising Myself I hear the world of the bible "Ye shall not enter the gates of heaven unless ye become again like little children"

For it touches every religion and belief that within each of us is the ability to make magic,
and though the magic we make might be as simple as choosing to just let something go

So obvious and Magic at the same time
