I try to be in extra god when I silence today, and it makes me smile cause I
think it sounds so silly, and how do I do that, I ask myself....
And while I ask myself the question, the action prevails and I repeat what I
have seen myself do in start to silence....
Which was remember......remember the passion of Christ where the stages of the
cross can represent the stages of obedience Jesus praised to his father, truly
he was crucified with out sin, and even his human person pleased, 'why have you
forsaken me, as if sin also had control for that second, and then....it is done,
even that second is crucified in time ...so he already died for our sins, why
must I think to be any 'thought' of them....today I share the good news,
through Christ we are forgiven. Meditate on that love, let the light of this
prayer and the prayer of the Christ in you to be reveled in healing !!!!
Then I remember when Jesus said to peter, it is my father who reveled this in
you,...is that a fore telling of the holy spirit, he will not leave us orphans ?

Kahlil Gibran ON DEATH
On Death
Kahlil Gibran
Then Almitra spoke, saying, We would ask now of death.
And he said:
You would know the secret of death. But how shall you find it unless you seek it
in the heath of life? The owl whose night-bound eyes are blind unto the day
cannot unveil the mystery of light. If you would indeed behold the spirit of
death, open your heart wide unto the body of life. For life and death are one,
even as the river and sea are one.
In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond;
and like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring. Trust the
dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity.
Your fear of death is but the trembling of the shepherd when he stands before
the king whose hand is to be laid upon him in honor. Is the shepherd not joyful
beneath his trembling, that he shall wear the mark of the king? Yet is he not
more mindful of his trembling?
For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless
tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?
Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when
you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the
earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.

On Pain
Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses
your understanding.
Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its
heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain.
And could you keep your heart in wonder at the
daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem
less wondrous than your joy;
And you would accept the seasons of your heart,
even as you have always accepted the seasons that
pass over your fields.
And you would watch with serenity through the
winters of your grief.
Much of your pain is self-chosen.
It is the bitter potion by which the physician within
you heals your sick self.
Therefore trust the physician, and drink his remedy
in silence and tranquillity:
For his hand, though heavy and hard, is guided by
the tender hand of the Unseen,
And the cup he brings, though it burn your lips, has
been fashioned of the clay which the Potter has
moistened with His own sacred tears.
Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses
your understanding.
Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its

I had a patient yesterday, a greek opera singer, tranferance one might say and
as I settled in and thought "yaya"
The told me her story of christ, as she was dying, he comes to her,
Oh the lowly and broken hearted, she who sends love and prayers to the other
behind the curtain...
She is a sister in christ and he comes to her and there is no fear. She tell me,
she enters his eyes , like a superman, her soul flies thru the deep blue of his
eyes, a sunset blue, and inside its the universe and her fingers have lights
shining from them, they connect with thousands of stars in the distance and she
is floating non a love, its almost to much to hold cause its like nothing she
has ever felt before, unconditional I ask, says how can it have words.......
And there is peace
And I love her.......

Bible study
“The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: “God, I thank you that I am not
like other men – robbers, evildoers, adulterers – or even like this tax
collector.”
Luke 18:11
There is a great theology in this that I feel into , couples with the words
jesus says, its not what goes into a mouth that defiles a man, but what comes
out (jhn)

Divert my gaze,
dear lord,
give me strength and courage to do all I need to ,
today, so I can take that confidence and your power within me,
to brush this off
life,a thought, a cloud, a riddance, a breathe,
for the sharing of the souls you
put in front of me in the hospital is work enough, give enough,
I can bear with
too, if it be thy will
for your blessings....

there are doors I walk thru
that separate
with thresholds
that grow themselves
, as if they were lined up
and planted with seeds long before
they knew when
they would be uncovered.......
